On subject of representation and diversity, they gave Marvel’s first trans character and they actually hired a black trans woman! Sadly kinda doubt ever see them more then those like 10 seconds. But at least kinda touched a little on issue of violence black trans women face.

I actually liked Laurel throughout the show’s history - there was an honest core to the character, bad writing, poor in-universe decisions etc. aside. I liked Felicity in S1 and S2 and it was somewhere in S3 that the writing turned her into a source of needless drama (no fault of the actor again..).

If you had told me during Season 2 of Arrow, that by the end of Season 4, fans would love and miss Laurel, and hate Felicity, I would have been very skeptical.

I was initially divided upon hearing the news, but I like the idea. Laurel grew as a character and was killed off to serve a plot point that was little more than an ill-conceived attention-grabber. Not exactly fair to the actor or the character, and a GA world without a Black Canary feels wrong. I think bringing

You’ll notice that (a) that belief leads directly to the downfall of the Jedi, and (b) Luke’s disobedience to it is a major part of his heroic arc?

Yes it’s canon, no it’s not “just” a kids show (also, if you have kids, tread carefully because it’s pretty dark and getting darker). Dave Filoni is responsible for the best Star Wars content since Return of the Jedi.

Nah, too much pressure. Our raid group goes in 100% blind, so we like taking our time and experimenting and trying to figure out all the mechanics on our own.

This is the truth. 90% of people I run into who complain about the game either don’t get the game at all, or they played it over a year ago and therefore have totally outdated opinions.

I actually think the people who complain the loudest about the lack of content are people who don’t actually play Destiny. Those of us who are grinding this week are doing it because we love the game and want to be raid ready ASAP.

Thanks to Spider-Man being introduced into the MCU, I guess we now have two superheroes in the MCU who’ve made Faustian Pacts with a demon. Maybe they can team up and teach about bike safety while Ghost Rider threatens to drag a child to hell if he doesn’t wear his helmet while riding a bike.

Because they tried to turn the villains into loveable heroes. Yet in Batman v superman the heroes weren’t very loveable. WHO IS RUNNING THIS THING!?

Marvel: We’re pushing Captain Marvel back to 2030 to let our universe get really established first.

Good point. Then hey, I guess he just went on vacation

Seeing DOOT IV reminded me that this exists and should be made into a real thing.

South Floridian here just trying to provide a counter balance to the “see ya, assholes, you won’t be missed” posts that are undoubtedly already here with more coming.

Another one? For a fandom for such a happy and accepting show, they sure like driving people out.

Are you guys working off a flow chart here or something? It’s not a valid point. I wrote about a game that I’ve been playing for several months. One I originally brushed off but then found myself playing all the time. These are the sort of experiences we relay here. It’s what we do.

This sure is a typical BS comment.
