It is now a Mazda2.

I don’t understand the propensity for Americans to blow red lights. Seriously, that’s INSANE!! What possible outcome do they expect other than a massive accident?

And if you’re driving an Uber you can charge the occupants for the ride.

You anal? This isn’t grindr, we don’t need to know whether or not you’re a catcher or a pitcher.

This is not publicly admitted, but I suspect that nowadays designers have actually skimped on SUV crash protection as they’re trying desperately to get them to weigh less. They have so much mass and metal anyway, that they’ll do fine enough in standard crash tests.

Imagine two options:

No, basic physical laws are absolutely NOT enough to know anything about crash safety. You are absolutely wrong.

See my response to StevieWelles. There is even more to what you correctly say. SUVs are on average far more expensive, newer (there were far more cars earlier so most of the old vehicles are cars), driven by more wealthy people (=safer drivers in safer conditions), driven more by families (=careful), and there simply

Also why not consider what if that car coming from the side was an Accord? All parties would’ve been better off, a lot safer.

I would estimate the main reason for buying an SUV is cowardice. Not trusting your own driving abilities, therefore feeling the need to embark on an ‘arms race’ against other people, trying to gain selfish personal advantage by having the more destructive vehicle, and overall just being scared and selfish and lazy.

See my response to StevieWelles. You are incorrect. That is an absolutely false use of statistics. As an exaggeration you are comparing new Escalades to old Yugos. The brand new Range Rover driven midday in bumper-to-bumper traffic from her gated community to the school by an upper class 40-year-old mother with her

You are incapable of handling statistics. The category of “SUV” contains far larger vehicles, and far more expensive vehicles than the category “cars”. If you would clean out the category “cars” to only contain such cars that are comparable in price, approximate size range (interior) as SUVs, meaning that you take out

Well, this separating of women politically is a great way for Michèle Mouton to get a high salary... No doubt others get paid thanks to these politics too. Apparently a few women end up getting a small sum of money too in the end.

That means that electric boats will never be lower in CO2 emissions in their lifetime. So much emisisons just producing them, and they aren’t used enough to claw back the difference with any in-use lower emissions. (And I seriously doubt they’re any better in their in-use emissions anyway...)

Haha, I’ll look into that model. All the other models I’ve read have the break-even point immensely higher, and I’ve read the reports themselves and have seen that they are totally fraudulent.

Actually no, your scenario (which I believe is very correct for many boaters) means a full tank of gas, so that is very much more energy than any electric boat will have. To use the boat like that WOULD in fact require recharging during the day, at least once.

Sure, all the car lifetime CO2 emission studies I’ve gone through not only show that even at best the EV is only marginally better than ICE in emissions, and at worst the EV is vastly worse than ICE. And every single paper on the subject I’ve seen so far is not just fraudulent, but MASSIVELY fraudulent, so we know

The EV boat’s lifetime CO2 emissions must be many times that of an ICE boat’s!

Not just the pricing. There’s also the fact that a boat that is used very little needs a huge battery...which means that the MASSIVELY higher emissions from manufacturing the batteries will NEVER be clawed back in use.

The EV boat’s lifetime CO2 emissions must be many times that of an ICE boat’s!
