Clearly you haven’t used iDrive or MBUX, properly at least. They are better with the scroll wheel, and entering an address is done really easily by writing it on the control wheel surface or though speech control.

I have had several BMWs with iDrive with touchscreen and I almost never use the touchscreen function. Only when stationary, with certain rare functions have I used the touchscreen.
