That’s a neat little power bump, but the looks on the STi are dated. She’s really due for a redesign.

My eyes, my beautiful eyes! The goggles do nothing!
Believe it or not, not every affluent American wants to be seen in a German ritzy-blitzy sedan.
Looks very much like a Mitsubishi EVO coupe.
Yeah.... if you’ve got $100k to blow on a battery with wheels.
Instead of adding a big V8, they should’ve shaved some weight. At 5,500lbs, Durango is a pig on wheels. A comparable Acura MDX AWD comes in at only 4,300lbs.
Civic will always trail behind on 0-60 times because it’s a FWD vehicle. Ensuring a quick off-the-line launch will always yield some wheel spin and therefore, loss of time.
For $5k more you can have an AWD Golf R with the same power, plus German refinement. I also don’t see these Civic 20" wheels lasting very long on US roads.
I did put down a deposit on a model 3. Then I ended up buying a Golf R and chipping it to Stage 2, because I didn’t feel like waiting for years, and years, years. Now I have a hot hatch that does 0-60 in 3.7 seconds for roughly $45k. BMW M4 owners just frown when they realize they can’t keep up, despite having spent…
I’ve deleted Uber last month after they decided to hide in their app that Surge Pricing was in effect. I was essentially getting random quotes for the same trip on any given day. It doesn’t get more shady than that. Uber drivers have been complaining to me for years about the outlandish promises of making $4k/month -…
Cruisers like this are made of steel. Just the way their customer (such as me) want it. Weight isn’t a deciding factor. If you want a lightweight crotch rocket, there is plenty of plastic-trimmed 500cc chainsaw engines with two wheels available for your suicidal ride.
Except that no hillbilly has good credit and no kids.
Anything over 100 octane (like 104) is leaded. Can’t use leaded gasoline with a vehicle equipped with a catalytic converter.
I’m totally with you. Factory-warranty backed drag monster like this hasn’t been made in recent history. I wouldn’t be surprised if the exhaust is valved, so that in track mode, the exhaust valves bypass the muffler and turn the car into a straight-piped screaming eagle. Good for Dodge for going above and beyond.
Haha, yes, exactly! “I don’t care about this stupid car, but let me click on the article, scroll down, log in, comment that I don’t care, and post it!”
I live in NYC and 93 octane is available at every Sunoco. It’s about 10-15c more per gallon than 91.
For $5k more you can buy a car with the same power, the addition of AWD, and plenty of style and refinement. I’ll keep my Golf R.
Every time I see a Lexus I’m reminded to shave.
My Stage II tuned Golf R will hit 0-60 in less than this overpriced status symbol for the rich. I also get All-wheel drive, power seats, and a 400-watt sound system. Oh yeah, I don’t need to top the water tank off either :-) This bimmer is nice to look at though.
Your vehicle is private property, not public. It's no different than you walking into a bank (private property) and being videotaped by their surveillance cameras. Completely legal.
