Probably found out she didn’t actually agree with him about the blacks and the Jews.

You mean, besides how she criticized him on Twitter? The piece presumes that he’s telling the truth that they really met at an NBC upfront and she gushed over him, only to later criticize him. I’m saying that he’s probably making up the former in response to the latter. There’s no evidence that it happened; in fact,

I mostly considered him “that loudmouth New York real estate guy,” but when he went all-in on birtherism around 2012 it became pretty clear what a sack of shit he is.

Now playing

Are we sure it was Will & Grace that got Trump crushing on Messing? If anything, he was probably under the delusion that she was more like her character on Seinfeld:

Well, duh! Actors like Messing are probably used to flattering slimy entertainment industry bigwigs for the sake of their jobs, but that doesn’t mean she’d endorse him for president of the country. Plus, Messing’s show was off the air by the time Trump launched his campaign, so she certainly didn’t have to pretend

And one of the best showcases for Franka Potente, one of the great down to earth and yet ethereal movie stars

I was introduced to the film when I was in high school, taking german class, and it was a mind-blowing introduction to modern European cinema and way more interesting than the stupid TV show designed for learners we also had to watch. A couple of years later in University it was one of the first movies I acquired in a

So does this mean we can finally get The Man From U.N.C.L.E. 2?

What’s the reason for police to need to be driving ON the actual beach, a place where people are likely to be lying down in the sand and difficult for a truck to see?

“A headline should never be directly contradicted by what’s in the article.”

I loved Welcome Back Kotter so much. It was a terrible show that served only to humble Travolta as he conquered the world. But the weirdest thing I remember about it was there were like very special episodes about drinking and like stripping and stuff like that. There was an episode where Horshack started drinking and

We had four channels and two of those were ABC affiliates. No cable. No VCR. A TV that hd to be tuned like an old radio. Now 50 years later there’s still nothing on sometimes.

I always find stuff like this and unaired pilots fascinating. It’s interesting to see what worked and what didn’t and if there was any way to fix what didn’t work.

One of the things I’ll have to explain to my daughter is the concept of missing a sitcom when it aired, trying to catch it in syndication, and realizing they’re still mid-season 2 in the cycle so it’ll be at least another month before they hit a patch of episodes I hadn’t seen yet.

I want to see Bill Hader and John Mulaney’s James L. Brooks samurai movie, “But What If You’re Wrong?

John Oliver’s tale of bombing in Edinburgh had me crying.

The bit where he examined the list of ingredients of a box of Mac & Cheese was a great showcase of Stewart’s talents. The joke itself was just alright but his performance elevated it to something that had me laughing out loud.

I just...don’t know what the fuck Seinfeld is on about. Dude never was in any danger of being too fucking edgy, blue, or controversial. I’ve not seen a single thing that approaches even the tamer parts of a Bill Burr or Patton Oswalt show.

Thoughts from an internet rando:

I am not a particular fan of Levy, but before Winter Soldier and Infinity War/Endgame, I would have said that two guys who mainly directed episodes of Arrested Development and Community were also a weird choice for the Avengers.
