Just give it to us as a HD-2D title and don’t fuck up the font this time. If they want to go beyond that, should go all-in on the pixel art IMO. The writing lets it down, but look at Sea of Stars’ visual presentation for inspiration, that game is absolutely gorgeous, that’s more the direction I would want a Chrono

A FF7R remake would inevitably be bloated, though. Doing it like Live a Live makes *way* more sense: you keep the content as is, but the HD 2D style puts a completely fresh coat of paint on it. They could even fully render the anime cutscenes from the DS/PC version

I would argue that Apocalypse was the career-staller. I believe that nobody could have done well in that role as given. At least Poe Dameron was still a showcase for his natural charisma.

It’s the everything has to be a live service mentality, that ruins games and developers.
