Come to think of it both Joy Division AND New Order are more deserving than half of these bozos

And still no Chubby Checker. Or Monkees. Or Turtles…

I'm from Ohio and I can tell you that Paul Lynde could have ax murdered his family, run for governor and won. No one has ever been as popular in these parts during my lifetime. Every time he made a personal appearance, he broke all attendance records, usually his own.

Which was kind of the point because Acid Betty, the queen who tried to be NG on the Snatch Game, was a disaster. So it was doubly funny that Carson's imitation came out of nowhere. But yeah, Ross Matthews should have dibs on Carson's place.

Carson Kressley did a mean imitation on last season's Drag Race.

I wish I could be happier that he's making it more likely that Hillary will win. But each new fuckup just makes me depressed. What have we come to?

Why so modest? You're also ignorant of his acting in more than 40 movies, his directing, and his tv work both before and behind the cameras. Own it

And ignorance is no excuse for arrogance

He was nominated for an Oscar twice, for The Graduate and as Best Director for co- directing Heaven Can Wait with Warren Beatty (heard of him?). He also created Get Smart with Mel Brooks (heard of him?). Maybe you should just read his Wikipedia entry.

Buck Henry co- wrote the screenplay to The Graduate, among other achievements.

Poor Phi Phi. She had the season's villain title all wrapped up and then Alaska steals it in a single episode. I've always been Team Katya, but was ok with Alaska (who should have won Season 5) but now I'm Team DeathtoRolaskatox.

Don't worry, there were eight cameras filming the whole thing. They're just waiting to release the footage during sweeps week.

It's ok, but I prefer just plain Valley of the Dolls with Susan Hayward stealing the show and Patty Duke giving the career-ending performance to end all career-ending performances. And it's not even trying to be a parody of anything!

I agree. Boris Godunov is one of the key works in the opera repertoire. Dimitrij is pretty obscure. There's also a French opera Dimitri by Joncieres based on the same Schiller play, just in case you're a False Dmitri opera completist. No doubt there are even more.

There's basically only one recording. It's on Supraphon conducted by Gerd Albrecht. It's best known as being Dvorak's one foray into Grand Opera. I think it's great, as I do all of Dvorak's operas. He wrote about a dozen, but only Rusalka gets much exposure in the USA.

I know it's perverse of me, but I'm sad to see Phi Phi go. What a perfect villain - especially considering she thought she was redeeming herself (WTF?!?) - but there was something dumpster fire/trainwreck/outhouse explosion fascinating about her villainy. It was so relentless and transparent. Roxxxy, on the other

I would give this episode a B-. I felt it was very weak after last week's A effort. The satire was obvious and tame, and the whole Gerald thing just drifted aimlessly. At least my rating might improve once the arc becomes clearer, but I was kind of bored by this episode.

And the difference between this and the ID network is …?

This is no doubt a clever publicity ploy for his new movie. Just spell his name right

Allude is correct. Elude means to avoid. Check a dictionary.
