I am debating getting rid of my OG Xbox One as the XB1 Kinect works best with that model (I have adapter for my XB1X but it don’t feel. It works as well) .

You are forgetting that the Xbox Series S is ALL Digital.... Not the Series X. It will also not be downloading 4K assets of games which = much smaller installs.

I've always wondered about and wanted to do this but where do you find thr rubber refills? I just don't see them readily available anywhere. 

Firestick is OK but overall Android TV (or whatever it’s being renamed to) has evolved into an overall better and more flexible system with Live channels and customization.

I would say it actually is starting to go better after the expected 1st couple of week adjustments. We’ve learned where and when our son wants and does not want our involvement.

Unlike the PS2 (DVD)and PS3 (Blu-ray) .... The PS5 like the PS4 doesn’t offer any ancillary reason to jump in early.... And there are even less actual launch title exclusive IPs to actually be interested than the PS4.

Sony showed nothing new for launch yesterday from their July showing..... And now that Spiderman: Miles Morales was quietly announced as available on PS4...... Why even upgrade yet?

The digital foundry video a couple weeks ago showed that spec numbers dont simply equate to performance. In summary a machine with less Teraflops and newer hardware can exceed/match a machine with higher specs & older hardware.

As Stadia, Xcloud and Geforce Now have shown..... The hardware is becoming more and more irrelevant.
