Here’s the thing though: there’s zero context for the dead civilians. Right now it’s setting up the Military = Bad trope...but I think it will be subverted. The civilians who were shot could have been infected while those who were not turned were probably going to shoot the soldiers in defense of their friends/family…

I mean, this guy’s been a hack since Slashfilm. I knew his name sounded familiar - he was one of the worst writers and his rubbish articles were the reason I unfollowed that website. Between him and Rob Bricken’s ALWAYS OUTRAGED posts, I’m pretty sure my time following io9 is drawing to a close.
