I’m not disagreeing with you. But a lot of people are reacting to this as if Facebook has a news team that writes stories for the Canadian market, which they don’t (as far as I know).

This is being widely misunderstood. This has nothing to do with getting news “from Facebook”. It’s stories posted TO Facebook from verified, legitimate news organizations that will go missing.
