I get what you're saying, but leaving out women in Seattle is egregious. The grunge culture was super feminist and was equally influenced by women. A HUGE part of the movement was walking away from the horrible misogyny in the rock music of the 80's.
Except that this is a documentary about music, and despite whatever Courtney is now, the Hole of the early 90's was a huge force in music.
