Yeah, I was born in ‘83, and remember watching Star Wars and ESB (and eventually RotJ) on tape a ton as a nipper. Like, ages 4-5, Star Wars was one of my favorite things to watch. They work for everyone, but it many ways they were made for kids, and kids love them. You don’t need to make a “kid version.”
That said, the…
Some important points. 1) Being anti-vax is a choice. 2) It endangers the lives of the innocent. 3) It’s built on a pack of debunked lies.
I think it might be “pro-easily preventable death.”
The preferred nomenclature isn’t “anti-vax”, it’s “pro-disease”!
I feel smarter for reading this. And dumber because I’m the same species as these people who believe in DEWs and Chemtrails. Seriously you don’t think we would see an airplane shooting lasers above the forest of paradise in California....
Seriously. The 18 hour space chase should disqualify TLJ from EVER being considered a good movie.
My only real problem with The Last Jedi is that if you are on a spaceship being chased by another spaceship it is apparently perfectly reasonable to take a tiny spaceship, go off to a far away planet, have some adventures, and then come back in time for lunch.
“Luke’s monologue to Rey about the Jedi letting Darth Sidious come to power”
The OP never said anything about it being unoriginal. They said that it was lazy and uninteresting, and I think those are probably fair things to say about Avatar.
James Cameron is no joke as a storyteller
I think the ones you don’t recognise are possibly from the Build the Millenium Falcon project, although they may have originally been somewhere else
Flavorless was a smart choice, but more accurate options were brimstone and Nicolas Cage flop sweat.
This took 3 seconds on google
Some of these configurations date back to West End Games’ old Star Wars RPG, specifically Galaxy Guide 6: Tramp Freighters.
My view on the SW universe is still that they’re on a long decline from a super science civilization and they’re still working from ancient tech that was meant to be idiot-proof without fully understanding it. Which is why their newly-designed Giant Space Lasers keep getting blown up by groups of rag tag heroes yet an…
So like ALL official floorplans of the Falcon, the got the layout wrong again. I guess they have to stick to the mistake (made due to the interior and exterior sets being built at different scales and the original floorplan designer decades ago not realising that). The real and obviously intended corridor layout is…
The old West End Games Star Wars RPG had similar images and customizations for the YT-1300. If I recall correctly, there was one with the three engine nozzles and the cockpit in the middle, piloted by a Rodian bounty hunter. His ship was called the “Oota Goota”. I got a kick out of that.
I remember first reading about this back in the late-90s. Nothing new to fans.
