“This is totally not a big deal to me, I get drunk and compare peaceful entities to the group that committed the most famous genocide in human history on most weekdays.”

That’s one lifestyle I guess. You’re garbage.

It isn’t like Lewis made up the “I was sick all weekend” thing after the bad race either. Mercedes/Wolff publicly discussed having Ocon ready to take over for Lewis this weekend....Lewis then went and qualified on pole.

Jalopnik & its....certain followers that are inclined to dislike Lewis for a particular reason,

The EU hasn’t killed six million members of an ethnic minority you vile excuse for a human.

I don’t need to live within the EU to recognize that no, the EU and the Nazis are NOTHING alike.

Again, FUCK YOU.

That ‘goal’ was the murder of an entire population of a race.

Oh I’ll own a Ducati some day.

It will break and make me sad, also probably kill me.

But still.

Neutral: I’ll only buy a car built in Japan.

I’ve had bad luck with everywhere else.

The EU is nothing like Nazi Germany. You don’t understand the EU or Nazi Germany.

Sit down.

Wait, it only comes up when you open the door if the car is already on?

I’m trying to understand this logistically.

I agree with this wholly.

You said “Glad I live in a free-er country.” We live in the same one.

I relieve stress in various non-car related ways lol. I own an S2000 with a modified exhaust because I enjoy cars (and to be honest I prefer the way this one looks, OEM is ugly and not much quieter), which is also the reason I’m here.

I can enjoy cars

My thinking is, just make it a default rule, unsafe release = 5 second penalty tacked on at end of race or 2 secs at the end of a pit stop. Do it in a practice/qualifying situation and you’re demoted 2 spots on the grid that race.

The only way to make teams prioritize safety is to make it impact them on track IMO.

Hami

I live in the US. I have an emissions check every two years because I live in a major city (rural parts of the state are exempt bc backwards dumps).

If your greatest stress relief is your exhaust you should probably look inward. Annoying everyone else isn’t a great way to de-compress.

Btw, what do you drive? I want to

Then you’ve missed out on a lot of great racing.

Also the V10s kept going for a good while after 2000...

Can’t forget guys in huge diesel trucks with 8" exhaust tips either.

And yet...somehow I’m way more likely to get pulled over in my quieter car hmmm

Ugh. We get it, you’ve persecuted your entire life or so I’m sure you think.

Some people can actually earn their way into the Ivys.

I can’t believe I’m defending Ivy league schools rn, but I guess this is what this world has come to.

Yeah man. Someone who worked their way to an ivy league education should have that held against them.

A middle class/upper middle class ivy league scientist is a whole lot closer to a working class hourly guy at a manufacturing facility than to a billionaire.

Keep thinking that white members of the working class

I support this measure.

My city is full of tools in newish AMG sedans/crossovers ripping around making WAY more noise than my S2000 with a full aftermarket exhaust. That’s just not even reasonable.

Noise pollution is bad.

Renault Avantime.

Yeah and I’ve seen tons of unsafe releases lately because the teams will happily pay a cheap fine (for them).

And Lewis acknowledged he screwed up. Cold tires, no aero help, wet track on slicks, it happens. No one is perfect. Let me know when Max owns up to ceaselessly moving under braking.

Heck yeah man. Keep the car going as Toyota intended by never maintaining it and forcing it to death?
