I don’t think any of them are bauhaus. 

Yeah, I think it is a truly great piece of automotive design (honestly my favorite car visually of the last twenty years). I just think that word gets thrown around a lot, but I generally agree with you. 

What about something like a Matrix XRS and then putting a neat set of wheels on it? Or a Cube (which is neat because it has a 4x114.3 bolt pattern and can use all sorts of cool old Japanese wheels like SSR Mk I, Work Equips, etc)? I love weird JDM imports, but as a kid hauler maybe something modern is a better bet?

How is it bauhaus? Honestly (I’m an architecture/design dork, so seeing stuff like this thrown around always bugs me)

IS THAT REAL?

I understand that, believe me I have no desire to understate the danger of that era of F1 (and I’m beyond glad we’re past that). I’m saying a lifespan of 80 days was not the case. Cevert was in F1 a few years, Clark was in F1 for years, Rindt, etc. 

I think that’s a bit overstated, there were many deaths in F1 in the 50s/60s/70s, but not THAT many. 

I’m not saying it is the car you need.

I’m simply saying it is not only a two door coupe. 

The Civic Si? You can get them as sedans.

But do you actually visit those places? 

The whole thing brought on my statement.

Oh boo hoo. Professional sports exists for the leagues/owners to get money.

If you’re bothered by kneeling you’re bothered by his first amendment right to freedom of expression. 

That sort of refusal to acknowledge & educate yourself about real issues is why the US is in the terrible situation it finds itself in. 

Yeah man, I always look at one to three year old cars when I’m looking at long term reliability.

Except the new Civic Si is more comfortable, more fun, better on gas & will probably last longer.

It is also a lot cheaper. 

This is rural wisconsin, I doubt all that many of them look back in horror.
