Exactly what I thought. To me, he lost credibility when he said "if you're in the market for a new FPS, I'd at least counsel waiting to compare it to Black Ops 2, due out Nov. 13, or Halo 4, which is slated for a Nov. 6 release".

Yeah, you are correct. Maybe I made things a little too indirect there, but that's why I asked people to search wikipedia for "googol", so they would learn the entire story. :P

The number googolplex was based in the number googol, which was coined by a kid.

Funny thing is that the name "google" is actually based on something that a kid said. Search wikipedia for "googol".

O really loved this game. Unfortunatelly, I already finished it. :( There are only a few achievements left to get, but I think I will just use those other save slots to create new profiles and finish the game again. :)

Well, based in what he said, they get a 17.5% share when selling a game on brick and mortar stores, and a 70% share when selling digitally through third party platforms like steam.

Tommy GUN!

No, they wouldn't. Steam has mostly 4 kinds of sales:

Exactly, but I will certainly start with Borderlands 2 and take my time with it. Maybe I'll grab the Torchlight 2 4-pack during the next steam sale, which isn't that far away actually...

What's so special about this? This is the same system that has been used over and over again in dozens of games over the past years.

Gearbox didn't design the game to utilize Nvidia Physx. The reason the game contains such Physx features is because nVidia stepped up and dedicated a lot of engineering work to the game.

My thought exactly...

Go for 7. I tried the Windows 8 preview and it really let me down. The user interface was clearly tought for touch devices such as tablets and smartphones, and it doesn't really add anything that makes it stand out when compared to windows 7. It even has a "regular" desktop, but it's not the same thing, microsoft is

This method is older than death. I was hoping someone would come up with something that didn't require a goddamn PS3... #rant #rant #madatsony

"Which is a shame. Because in my eyes - and I'm sure plenty of other people's as well - the roots of what made C&C great was a hammy story and even hammier cutscenes."

Agreed. Just think of all the amazing woofing...

I'm with you. Sometimes you just want to shoot dudes, level up, get the best equips, then start all over again. Simple like that, it's fun and I can play for 200 hours and enjoy the hell out of it.

Indeed. But the best part was reliving all those "glorious" moments over and over again because I wanted to finish the game on inferno, something I still haven't done and most likely never do will since I stopped playing some time ago.

Hey, it's that military strategist that kept revealing his plan all the time and couldn't stop yapping its goddamned mouth while I just wanted to keep playing the game!

Nintendo would LOSE a lot of money by releasing pokémon on third party devices. The reason devices like the 3DS sell a lot is because of nintendo's franchises, like pokémon and mario. Sure there are a lot of great third-party games for the 3DS, but the first-party titles are what make the difference.
