I use the Philips wake up light alarm. It lights up slowly for a half hour and then makes noise. Usually I’m up by the time the sound goes off (and then I go turn it off and lay in my bed for 20 minutes as described..I should really set it for earlier...)

I don’t know that Vanguard in particular makes it *easier* but their funds have the lowest fees (expense ratios, which are <0.05% on the big funds), and it doesn’t cost anything to trade their own funds along with some other select funds.
