The Detroit News goes on to cite VW’s American small car boss who said that “Small cars look weird here in the U.S. next to big SUVs,” which is my new favorite cop out.

Finally just listened to this last night, and enjoyed it greatly. Partially because I took the plunge this weekend on a manual GTI this weekend, having only driven stick once before. So tick those stats up by one, a damn millennial just learned to drive stick.
Yeah. I demand a recount!
Just here to add, do it do it do it do it doit doit Honda.
Except the Camaro, Corvette, V-Series... but I get what you’re saying. There’s nothing in our lineup that’s affordable, fun, and at least somewhat practical. Yes I said our, and this is why I just bought a GTI - can’t fit the dog in a Camaro (easily, anyway).
Side effects may include blown head gaskets and loyalty to a fault.
I had only learned once on somebody’s car, and then I finally took the plunge this weekend. Definitely still learning, but you’ll get the hang of it enough to drive around pretty quick. Do it!
Before the image loaded, I 100% expected this to feature Tracy.
For some reason (because I wanted to?) I read it as she “fails at ripping a bong” and now I am entirely let down.
Don’t give me any crazy ideas.... *goes to vw.ca*
I would totally pick them. Pissed that VW is continuing its tradition of screwing the US and not bringing the digital dash on the GTI, even though I’m pretty sure you can get it in Canada.
2200 lbs?? The damn BRZ weighs 2800. Not that it has an admirable power:weight ratio but anyway, dream on.
Hell yeah, I will 100% be there.
I would like to cargue on video that your opinion is wrong.
I work in the industry, and while I haven’t taken a close look at the numbers, I think we’ll mostly be fine. Because ironically, the globalism that Trump irrationally hates will save us from his irrational policies - producing in the local economy will save us from tariffs.
Just get the E63 wagon. Cheaper, does everything you want, is the best car in the world.
Especially considering if you do the program, you’re probably the only one in the state, if not the country.
Ah okay.
...you mean Rockstar?
Very nice, same for me I think regarding ordering one. I like night blue best but wish there was a lighter blue available like the R’s Lapiz blue. However, I think I may go white silver since I’m in Texas. My black on black (leather) G37 kills me in the summer.
