I agree. My mom has a big-ass old Compaq laptop that sits next to her recliner and it's sole purpose is so she can play solitaire. I told her about the Touchpad fire sale and she was interested but this might even be better for her since both her and my dad are avid readers.

I like Vipers but would choose either the ZR1 or the LFA if I also had to drive the car on the street for more than a couple hours at a time. Driving a Viper on the street can be described as uncomfortable at best.

Other than the home and menu buttons being reversed from the layout that most other Android devices have, it's killer. And they fixed all the retarded design choices from the first version like having the charging port on the top. That was just plain dumb.

The point is/ was that the record labels have been screwing the talent out of album sales (and publishing rights) for decades and that they have always had to tour to make any real money. The internet can actually be a net positive for artists because they can cut out the money grubbing, thieving middle man.

Artists have historically made way more by touring and live performances than from album/ song sales. Not really much has changed except that the labels are finally getting a dose of their own medicine.
