nah they’ll keep going and going. after this one flops, they’ll probably give the Tobias Funke version a shot in 2017.

because then the rights to Fantastic Four would revert back to Marvel.

I’m looking forward to sitting down and finally getting around to watching this on Netflix, only to be locked out by my ex-girlfriend who is still using my account. that means she still loves me!

seriously, Charon is bad news. no job, no prospects, he’s going to be a burden on all of us. best Pluto just drop him altogether.

Nick Frost: so Simon, did you talk to JJ yet about getting me a role?

my thought exactly. they should have a scene where the new guys escape through the garbage chute. then they land in the garbage pit and are like “AAAAHHHHH THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN!!!!.... wait, no they’re not. we’re good.” then they just walk out.

couple of observations..

but only 50% of Star Wars movies have been shot on film. until now!

say what you want about Star Trek, but if you don’t have an opinion on Mission Impossible, then you can’t say “ruining every IP he touches”.

i’d think Ahsoka wouldn’t require full-on motion capture like that.

i also now love watching this gif on a loop. what’s the guard in the front right doing? he’s stepping to Batman like

ah true. i’m so used to them knowing each other that i forget this is the first time they meet. Batman is pretty formal. though i do imagine Clark Kent sending the initial friend request on facebook. and Bruce just sits at his computer like this

BvS timing is just off. this is the footage they should have shown last year, and the movie should have come out this year. WB was super quick to announce stuff for this movie. maybe too early sometimes, before it was ready. the effect is a lot of “been there done that” feelings.

i explained Deadpool to someone who isn’t into comics, and she was like “oh, so it’s basically the Mask in X-Men world?”

Fant Stic 4? but i haven’t seen Fant Stic 1 - 3 yet!

to be fair, the Guardians of the Galaxy were considered B-List. hell, even the Avengers could have been considered B-List. these days, prior status isn’t necessarily a sign of how well a comic character will do on screen. the Fantastic Four were/are one of the more recognizable groups in Marvel Comic’s catalog and

fun fact i just realized, every movie Joker has been played by an Oscar winner.

actually Affleck really is potentially one of the best to play the role. i don’t get why people don’t like him for it. sure, he can come off a little like a hollywood douchebag. but he was nominated for an Oscar for his directing. he knows his stuff. maybe the whole douchebag thing is just a ploy. oh shit... just

a zombie movie.
