TLDR.

My only real issue with it, and I think this mistake gets made a lot, is the near constant suggestion that anyone who doesn’t agree with her on the Israel-Palestine conflict is doing so not because of a genuine disagreement but because they’re held in thrall by the money of AIPAC or whatever.

I agree that the issue once again is her dodgy use of the concept of “allegiance” and the idea that people who broadly support Israel are “pledging fealty” or whatever. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt there and just say she doesn’t realize the implication there but it registers pretty hard.

It sucks that she has got to be the Jackie Robinson of Muslim politicians.

As far as scoffing is concerned, I’m not going to say everybody scoffed and I’m not going to say nobody scoffed, but surely somebody somewhere scoffed.

Let’s stop trivializing this serious abuse of power, and witness tampering as a ‘bad tweet’. A bad tweet is posting an inappropriate comment. This is nothing less then mob style intimidation at the behest of Trump.

We all know what these people who wear their MAGA hats and/or walk around with their Trump banners are trying to do, why allow yourself to fall for the okey doke? Leave them fools alone and keep it moving. They’re not worth the trouble. 

This is a heap of not-good. India has the upper hand in this conflict. But China, which shares a disputed border with India in Himachal Pradesh, sides with Pakistan. There aren’t any ‘cooler heads’ running these three countries at the moment neither.
