How interesting that people (Americans) can find justification for any type of disgusting behavior.

Societies are built on the idea that people have the capacity to resist their baser urges for the most part. Abstinence only education doesn’t work because there are people out there who won’t be able to manage abstaining but that doesn’t mean that everybody is just fucking each other whenever and where ever they can…
Wow, my experience could not be more different from yours. Every single woman I’m close with, from thin to fat, in different parts of the world, from all walks of life, has dieted. There was a period of time where I had to ask my friends to stop talking about Weight Watchers because I just couldn’t deal with them…
I’m Latin American and I think Latinx is fucking ridiculous.
Indians aren’t Asian. You don’t get a continent, just a subcontinent.
On the other hand, when I spent some time in Germany, it was an unspoken rule that someone would pick up the front end of a stroller to help the mom get it up the steps and onto a streetcar or bus. Complete strangers did this all the time.
I’ll gladly give up my seat when I no longer see parents rolling suv sized strollers onto public transportation. Your “baby” is fucking 3 damn years old. Make that kid walk damnit!
I think the better question is why is it so important to these parents that they post nude pics of their daughter online? If it bothers their daughter at all — which it clearly did — why didn’t they just take them down?
Maybe the potential employer would see that her mother is crazy and assume the kid was raised in a crazy environment and is therefore unreliable?
Well, you’d be wrong on that. I’ve seen people lose promotions and even fired for pictures and posts of siblings and cousins on the internet.
Are you out of your mind? Do you not think, if there were naked baby pictures of Hillary Rodham (before she was Clinton) floating around the internet, that wouldn’t have a major impact on the current election?
I’m not arguing; your comment wasn’t clear. You didn’t say anything about it affecting someone’s job; you said, you didn’t see why it would matter if your boss saw nude photos of you as a toddler. I didn’t realize you meant “It won’t affect your job, so why does it matter”
It matters to this girl. There is obviously a troubling family dynamic here is she feels she has to sue to get her parents to respect her wishes. Why didn’t they just take them down, given how distressed she obviously is?
And I was specifically answering you. It’s none of the boss’s business. Or anyone’s.
Because children’s nudity is private? Because children deserve respect? Because bodily autonomy is not just for sex pozzie hipster poly pansexual adults?
It’s fascinating to me that a reporter took the time to ferret out that this was a publicity stunt...but Matt Lauer (and other network “journalists”) can’t be bothered to fact check a goddamned Presidential candidate on air.
Meh. It is every queer girl’s right to support and maintain the worst of our patriarchal institutions, I suppose.
Reviewers are not journalists
I read this as an actress signing on for one project, and not wanting to have it switched for a totally different one. Filming a tv series is very different from filming a movie—logistically, financially... And also, she IS an A-list star right now. Doing a TV movie would be bad for her career. Can we recognize a…
Too busy sunning her vag? Eating clay? I’d be willing to bet $10 that in 5 years she’s on some laugh tracked TV show anyway.
