Rygar on NES is an overlooked classic.  Easily a top 5 NES game for me.

Yes!  The great chip shortage of ‘88.  I was positive I wasn’t going to get either game so I was very happily surprised Xmas morning.

I agree, that and Zelda 2 were the must haves during Xmas ‘88 and I fondly recall playing the hell out of both during my holiday break that year. Their absence on Switch is strange to me.
