I would recommend Linux Mint. It’s built off Ubuntu, and has the Cinnamon desktop as default. It is much more like Windows.
It sounds like the distribution you want is Mint, though.

steamed! We use a silicone microwave steamer, grated ginger, ponzu, mirin, garlic, tiny bit of light white miso, rub on fish. Pour some sake instead of water for steaming, 7-8 minutes in the microwave. Heat up some oil, soy sauce, diced scallion and cilantro pour on top as sauce.

Stitcher is AWFUL. Not only is the app itself near unusable and crashes constantly, but their customer service is extremely rude. I use Podcast Addict (on Android, not sure if available for iPhone) myself. Simple, easy user interface and I’ve yet to find any podcast that isn’t available through it! Hope this helps.
