I think this has to go hand in hand with ‘Deep Work.’ You really have to excise all the distractions from your life otherwise you can’t really do meaningful work when you’re attention is fragmented.

Yea, given that Blacks and Latinos are under represented in colleges much less in ivy league institutions. If all the checkmarks are crossed they’re going to be beating down your door. If you’re Asian though you’re shit out of luck since they’re over represented.

Sometimes I don’t need to have my cellphone surgically attached to my hand and I get to use that hand for other stuff. Two hands are better than one. Win win.
