At no point in Superbad do any of the main characters attempt to assault a drunk woman. Quite the contrary, in fact. There is a scene in which Michael Cera’s character rejects the drunken advances of his crush, specifically because she is drunk.

So it wasn’t just my old, straight, kinda drunk ass that thought Lil Nas X set out to do just about the gayest thing he possibly could on network TV and came pretty close to achieving it. (And good for him!).

Me, too.

If I remember correctly what he did was quit a in the first episode of his second season. Jeff really hates quitters.

Well, you’re right about that. I don’t disagree at all.

To be fair, Bucky spent 60 years as a brain-washed murderbot and John Walker didn’t. It’s not *that* hard to figure out why one of them was mandated therapy and the other wasn’t.

A woman writing for National Lampoon in the early ‘70s and SNL in the late ‘70s... to think of the river of sexist bullshit she had to swim upstream through every day just boggles the mind.

Give me my Squirrel Girl!

Looking at the cast photos on the show website it looked like there were 10 or 12 black women and another 10 or 12 women whose ethnicity in their cast photo wasn’t something I’d feel comfortable putting a name to.

For as long as I’ve been aware of Sharon Osbourne, I have disliked her so viscerally that it has made me wonder whether I’m the problem. But, no, she’s awful and I’m right to despise her.

Metallica never had shit to say. And Justice For All was terribly recorded crap. Every bit of talent in that band died in a bus crash and the remainder hung around living off his rep for the next 35 years.

I had the same thought. Their characters are literally the title of the movie.

I’m watching it now and... it’s fine.

We don’t.

Because it gave you something of no consequence to write about when you needed content and there was no other content.

How is he not better than Steven Stills?

I did not know that Chinese Mexican fusion was a thing, but now that I know, I really, really want some.

Man, it felt so good to watch an SNL that didn’t open with Alec Baldwin doing a bad Trump impression. Baldwin did a lot of great work on SNL and was a rightly revered host, but his Trump was not good.

Cite that data?

I’d say the overlap in a Venn diagram of Trump voters, WWE fans and stupid people is pretty high.
