I try, and fail, to be a good person.

I was once fired for demonstrating that I was, daily, saving my company more than I was being paid weekly, because it demonstrated just how shitty a job my boss’s boss’s department was doing.

That’s the thing, it isn’t. It’s an inner ring suburb that directly borders Cleveland.

I became a Man U fan from playing FIFA ‘95, where I picked Man U because I loved the Stone Roses, Buzzcocks , The Smiths, etc and Man City were crap. Yorke and Cole, Keane, Beckham and Ryan Giggs, Jaap Stam and the Nevilles, Scholes, Solksjaer, that was a team for the ages! Guess who was my favorite!

That’s actually probably really close to the truth in spirit, if not in details.

The problem with that argument is that it’s the National Baseball Hall of Fame AND Museum.

I actually preferred XL1 the most of his synthpop solo stuff, but I liked pretty much everything he did. Even the post-reunion new stuff is all quite good and certainly not nearly as inessential as most bands post-reunion output.

Let’s hope they bring to this case the same level of professionalism and dedication that they brought to the Ariel Castro and Anthony Sowell cases.

OR we could call it prejudice or bigotry, which it is, and which is stil wrong, and reserve the use of “racism” to describe actual race-based governing or governing philosophies, instead of “racism” being a meaningless catch-all for everything that makes anyone uncomfortable about race or ethnicity.

We’re told that what happens in the video is “brutal” and “truly awful” to watch, but what it is, mostly is just stupid and pointless.

The lesson, as always: Saying the first thing that pops into your head, for a worldwide audience, in a format that eliminates any chance at nuance is a bad idea.
