this kind of surprised me too. i really wish the storage did not dictate the price in apple products so much. it certainly isn't a real cost proportion.

so funny because i have a keyboard collecting dust that I was sure I would be using with my ipad because i just found it so much easier to type on the screen... i dont mean that it is easier to type on touchscreens, but that it is easier to not have it with me when i'm ipadding.

Sometimes I use a case and sometimes I don't. I think that a phone should not get scratched up. I don't want my car scratched up. I don't want my phone scratched up. I can park my car away from other cars, that margin is provided by the case for my phone.

I am pretty sure most everyone here would like to do what you want to do to a 32. I certainly would. I think the point of contention is that one wouldn't want to change the Mona Lisa so that one could make better use of the canvas it's painted on. Not that I even like that painting.
