I am a lawyer, specifically a litigation attorney, and the standard is not “has a litigation hold been filed,” its “reasonable anticipation of litigation.” Far and away the biggest difference between the two is when the potentially guilty party (in this case, Google) becomes aware of a likely litigable event but the

Seriously. This was incredibly stupid and patently obvious.... to anyone who actually has a law degree.

Seriously. How the heck did an actual, ergonomic work chair not make the list.

Dude make the time for Strange New Worlds. I’ve been wildly disappointed by basically all of the last decade of new-Trek... except SNW. SNW is outstanding and embraces the “how do we explore a thing that is meaningful about people in this episode” aspect of older Trek very well.

I bought a Brother laser with a scanner (HL-L2380DW) a little over over 5 years ago when it was on sale thinking “I need a printer occasionally” and although I haven’t used it often, it has been exceptionally useful and completely reliable for the $100 I paid. Unless for some reason I need a color printer in my house

Many also have a side discharge option, which does exactly what they’re trying to do (discharges long clippings unmulched) without exposing yourself to serious risk.

After announcing a loss of over 200,000 subscribers in Q1 2022 (the first time after a decade of growth), the streaming company said it was considering adding adds to generate more revenue. Netflix’s stocks also tumbled 30%. The company partially blamed its stock problems on users sharing passwords.

No separate punishment in a civil, class action lawsuit, because civil lawsuits aren’t about punishment, they’re about making people as whole as reasonably possible. In a suit to enforce a contract, the general principle under the law is that the parties should be placed in the position after the lawsuit that the

Salesmen, attorneys, and politicians—all professions based on trying to gain trust from people who really should not trust you.

Might work with clicky switches, but with my Yeti microphone pointed right at the keyboard from maybe six inches away, it spit out absolute gibberish with my box browns.

It’s been renewed for season 3, which has been announced as the final season. So at this point the only way it doesn’t end as planned is if Stewart unexpectedly dies (which, any show working with a lead actor of a certain age really should be planning for the possibility of, sadly)

Hilariously, I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that was another unlisted edit. This article was posted at 8:03 Eastern time, and Agarwal’s tweet announcing Musk’s board seat didn’t go up until about half an hour later. They’ve substantively re-edited this post twice without just listing them

They edited the tagline and the article without noting the edit. Check the other comments. Both said “majority shareholder” when it was posted this morning.”

Correct, although it looks like I wasn’t the only one to point it out in the comments. Good of them to correct the mistake.

Related, it looks like NZXT is only offering the 60g Aliaz switches, not the 70/80/100s, so they’re the same weightas the 60g springs in the silent blacks. Guess they’re offering them as a tactile silent option and not as a stronger spring option.

You’re right that there are tons of other advantages. I don’t actually consider the strong bottom out a benefit because yes, like you described, ideally typing (which most of us don’t do) you’re not bottoming out anyhow.

That sure is a weird typo on my part. Springs, yes.

They sure did edit it. I suppose that’s how corrections work.

The idea that they sent over mushy dampened black linears as their test board makes me seriously curious about who they’re marketing this to. It certainly sounds like they’re targeting the non-mechanical keyboard crowd and trying to create a sort of gateway board for people who aren’t into more aggressive mechanical

Musk bought just over 9 percent of Twitter... he is in no way the “majority” shareholder. A majority shareholder has to hold 50+% of a company’s voting stock. It’s an extremely important title because, when you hold 50%+ of the voting stock, your single vote always wins.
