I think his point is more that Roku’s implementation (which I’ve used) is very effective and very slick. And exists.

This is the thing that is never discussed in these Apple critiques. It’s also why the AppleTV is twice as expensive as the FireTV, Roku, and Google high end boxes. Those other three companies are all selling your watching data, mining the voice searches, and generally using your privacy to make them more money so they

To get that fun crust on top, you sprinkle the sugar onto each jar and let the broiler function on your oven do the rest for about a minute.

That would certainly improve the odor issue

I used to have one but (a) it never contained the fry oil smell, so my whole place reeked of fryer, and (b) the convenience was making it too easy and I was eating way too much deep fried food.

It’s pretty close. There’s probably something to being closer to the heating element. But as far as I can tell, my “air fry” setting is just radiant dry heat and a convection fan, i.e. a convection oven.

They are 100% tiny convection ovens, if you have a convection toaster oven you do not need an air fryer whatsoever. If you do not have a countertop size convection oven, they’re useful tools. But they’re not necessary by any means.

There’s probably a tremendous number of people who haven’t heard that ridiculous (and ridiculously amusing) song. Are you allowed to link to it?

In 15 years of non-commercial cooking, I too made mozzarella sticks from scratch precisely once. They were good, but they weren’t better, and if they’re not better why not use the frozen ones?

I find they are if you deep fry them. Like the restaurant does. Which I do. Because having perfected this process in a cast iron pot, I can never go back.

Uber and Lyft did that successfully in Austin, I would be shocked if the idea wasn’t at least implied or floated.

A bill, written by Epic’s lobbyists (Epic funded and co-founded the Coalition, something Gizmodo’s articles never seem to disclose), was killed by Google and Apple lobbyists. Anyone pretending this is anything else is either (a) willfully disingenuous, or (b) totally ignorant as to how the process works and who the

Sure, and your point stands; it’s beyond dispute that most of Cyborg’s development was cut, and that does stand out given what’s come out after the fact.

Out of curiosity, and I’m serious here, if you had a film-length mandate from the studio (which it’s been widely reporeted Wheedon had) of 2 hours max, what scenes WOULD you have cut? It’s got to be substantial.

Not even sure it has to be contracts; there’s just such a massive difference in the way stories are told by actors and by illustrators in comics. So much of acting is in facial expressions and demonstrating emotions. It’s much harder to communicate a character’s pain, fear, excitement, joy, love, sorrow, etc, without

Not sure this isn’t what you meant, but just to clarify I’ve seen him play characters I dislike, because you’re supposed to dislike them. He’s fantastic at making the audience either feel vitriol or empathy for the character. And he manages to do both in this role. He’s outstanding.

This deserves so many more stars than it has

Honestly, the more important upgrade isn’t resolution, it’s refresh rate. At least if you play ANYTHING at all fast. And it looks like you learned that on your journey from the one line about your Viotek, but I do wish it were emphasized a bit more for a casual reader (or anyone who hasn’t experienced it and might be

You ignored the sentence right before what you just quoted, which is the evidence that it might provide effective protection:

Yeah, and that’s not who’s saying it. They’re just reporting on the study - accurately, no less.
