Peter still hates Kinja

I liked my fridge, which is approximately two years old, perfectly well until LG came out with one that makes clear whiskey spheres automatically.

The most confusing part of Hades for me is how often I put it down.

I absolutely love that they still have standard rechargeable batteries. A four-pack of Eneloops means my controller is never dead, ever. Can’t say that about any other cordless electric device in my house/life anymore.

Password managers have existed long before Apple’s system was released, but having a dedicated feature to store encrypted logins locally within a trusted ecosystem has made it more appealing than ever to lose the traditional password.

Both deals negotiated by their agents so as to profit off of their marketability and get money in return?

All of this is true, but frankly Apple needs to refresh just to restart the buying cycle. Personally I decided to get myself an ATV 4K this last year after I got fed up with Roku for beefing with the content providers but with the existing models being years old, I’ve been waiting for the new one because we all know

This is so true. HBO has been the king of “worth it for the extra $10-15 a month” for what, two decades? And yet, even though Max doesn’t cost anymore than HBO Now did (which millions of people subscribed to), it somehow feels like it’s so much worse even though it offers me a buttload more for the same money (less

(His Dark Materials—a show I’ve never watched—featured at the top of the page for me on Monday, though I’d already seen 1984.)

If Mando isn’t proof that the weekly release, streaming or otherwise, is how you capture the cultural zeitgeist, I don’t know what is. There is just no way Mando becomes this big a phenomenon if people don’t get to marinate on each episode and talk about it week to week, Game of Thrones style. That just doesn’t happen

If you haven’t watched Izzard’s explanation of her sexuality and gender expression in Dress to Kill (indisputably her best standup special), you really should. Beyond being utterly hilarious, it’s an extremely well communicated explanation of her perspective and experience for people who, not having lived it, may not

The header image of him as some kind of murderer plus the massive dose of snark (admittedly, in character for your writing style and the site’s) comes off as VERY dismissive of Cook’s position here. It is at best incredibly tone deaf regarding the fact that Gawker was unquestionably the shitbag that started this

Those are also fantastic

That opinion is very clearly missing from your commentary making Cook out to be some kind of bad guy for not wanting his company to fund content glorifying a company that did something shitty to him.

Isn’t outing Thiel also what drew his ire?

I know this article is 99% a joke, but not even an honorable mention to the Tovolo Sphere Ice Molds that make the same size spheres, 85-90% as well, don’t require a 3 inch ice cube (which, that’s custom stuff right there), and cost $10?

I may be showing my lack of web code knowledge here, but I’m always confused why on my browser tab it says “Dear Apple, Why Boob Case?” and on the actual headline it says “I thought it was an ugly titty purse.”

It’s cheaper for a month than a single non-matinee movie ticket in the vast majority of theaters these days. And if you’re watching it with more than one person, it’s a massive discount.
But yes, the lack of legal access must be frustrating

... can’t believe my snark in a comments section appears to have ended in a positive result. 8-10 degrees is a HUGE improvement for a CPU that runs as hot as the i9 does.

The black D15 isn’t available at its $99 MSRP? I hadn’t noticed it was sold out. Must have been a run on them with the new Ryzen chips coming out for people making new builds.

I, like you, am liquid averse. And if I were spending $2400 on a build I’d be running a Noctua D-15S or U12A. There are other highly competitive air coolers on the market as well.
