As a litigator, I can say with some confidence that no, it wouldn’t. It would be evidence against it and it would potentially cap his damages, but there’s still the matter of him having been exiled from the league for the better part of two years so far. It would hurt his lawsuit, but it wouldn’t kill it.

It’s not, even with such an in-eloquent term. But is seriously questionable spin to just dismiss the idea that workers might voluntarily work somewhere for less money because (a) it’s a prestigious place that will help them build their career, and/or (b) it’s a place they like working better than their alternatives.

I don’t know where this idea came from, but it’s false. The Federal Sentencing Guidelines for creating or distributing child pornography are extremely stiff.

This is literally the Ray Rice play all over again. NFL knew about the incident. Knew it involved violence against a woman. Didn’t do shit.

Which model do you have? I love my EGO mower so much I bought the EGO snowblower, which I haven’t gotten to use yet. I seriously considered the blower as well... I’m addicted...

Haha no, she was saying why did I get trashy fast food breakfast when I could have expensed restaurant breakfast. It was judgement, not cost. I told her because it was delicious and on the way to the job site.

The magic of Wawa isn’t one particular item; it’s that nearly everything on their full-service food menu is worth eating. That place is a 7-11 with a hell of a sub shop built into it, it’s great.

I was in California for 10 days for work last year, discovered Jack in the box breakfast, FUCKING DIED HAPPY, then got shit from it from my office manager when she saw the expense charges. I told her flat out how wrong she was. Those breakfast sandwiches are AMAZING

The breakfast at Jack-in-the-box was outstanding.

I don’t even know what to think about the Giants and Beckham’s season at this point. On the one hand, if you’re so fed up with the franchise why do you demand and sign a megacontract? On the other hand, with the NFL labor rules and the franchise tag so fucked up that you’d have to consider going the full Le’veon to

One or two plays a year? It was half a dozen plays in one postseason. And I never said I’d pass him up; I said it was going to give people pause and it was going to be held against him. If you’re paying a guy $30M plus annually you expect him not to take plays off.

He won’t be in his prime for the last three years of the 8-10 year deal he’s supposedly demanding.

Sounds like the case for the MVP

Exactly. Compare regular season Lebron to playoff Lebron. The great ones pour gasoline on the fire in the postseason. You protect your body and play as hard as you need to during the regular season so you can go to the wall during the postseason.

I don’t think it’s the comment that might worry them. It’s that it appears from his play in the playoffs to be true. Does anyone in sports really believe this guy is going to start working harder once he has a $300M contract? Has ANYONE in sports ever noticably started working harder after signing a massive deal? If

I bought mine on a whim during a $15 sale and it’s utterly killer. I am convinced every negative review is from someone who tried to use this thing over WiFi; given the way it works, it should have required a hardline connection from the start. Both my Steamlink and PC are connected to my router by Cat-6 ethernet and

But Jared Goff would get it. What’s being missed is in the gushing over the score is that those 7 turnovers seem indicative of sloppy offensive play and soft defenses.

I was BAFFLED that this wasn’t mentioned. Not the tweet specifically, but that Kaep used to back up Smith.

I won’t lie, the speculation and beef would be SO much more fun if all three were free agents.

If you think Bell is “legitimately the best offensive player in the league,” this is absolutely correct. Given that James Conner, who was considered a non-prospect middling backup, has all but completely matched his performance in his absence, I suspect the consensus around the league may be shifting more toward’s
