"LOST" Every time I see these four letters, my brain turns off.  Should I bother?  It's the same with "BUFFY," but with the latter, I know I'm in the wrong.

Britta and Abed in the Morning

I would love it if season 5 began as, "it was all a dream…"

Wait, there was an article about The Little Drummer Boy and nobody mentioned the Little Drummer Boy Challenge?!?  It's about a group of people that try to get through Christmas without hearing any part of that song.

Bob may be pretending to be someone he is not, harboring secrets of an assumed identity and confused morals.  Wait, did the writer's already play that card?

What, no Margo Martindale?

Are you able to get it through amazon (the US site) or is that blocked for UK residents?

I was somewhat -meh- going into the season premier, but seeing Linda Cardellini in the credits of the first half ("Linda Cardellini!?!"), my mood has shot straight up to "anticipation."

Slattery and Moss really brought their A games.  I really need to watch that movie with John Slattery and Linda Cardellini…

When I was in my early twenties, I was stuck in a deep, depressive hole, simultaneously failing out of school and checking out of life.  When I heard Ben Folds Five's 'Army', it really struck a chord.  How did a pop song capture how people feel when they fail?

Is it just me, or is this post confusing?  Why bury the lede, just tell me what I need to know.

That Dog!  I haven't thought about that band for a decade.  Now I'll have 'Minneapolis' stuck in my head all day.

Never mind.  The Weezer wiki (such a thing exists?!?) notes that the Rentals' 'Friends of P.' is a reference to Paulina Porizkova, not Petra Haden as I previously thought.

Any vocalist that works with Bill Frisell is A OK in my book.  I guess you could say, I'm a friend of P.  (no, not actually.)

There is a sensational Yacht Rock cover band in San Francisco playing in a couple of days.  Bay Areans should check out Moustache Harbor: http://mustacheharbor.com/e…

To which my favorite character, Strong Sad, says, "StrongBad, were you just first-basin' it to that sheet of loose leaf?"

"The Ugly One!  You are looking so make-y-out-y toniight!"

My favorite line of the series is delivered by Wyatt Cenac as James Ingram.  "It's mellow, but not smooth.  Kind of shitty."  McDonald replies, "Jimmy Buffett!"

Maybe it's just time-induced dissonance, but after re-watching/listening to Batdance, I find it to be a hot mess.
