This school is public, and although there are some rich parents who can prep their kids to get into Hunter with money, the school has many students from low income families. Hunter is an elite public school, and there’s a fair amount of economic diversity. (I’m a graduate.) These kids are just assholes. It has very little in common with the other fancy high schools in the neighborhood. It IS, however, a terrible, depressing place.
