WoW still has nearly 5M active subscribers. even if we assume they all have a 6 month subscription to assign the lowest possible dollar value, that’s almost $750 million dollars a year they get in sub fees for an 18 year old game

my dad followed in his dad’s footsteps and loved british roadsters.  I think the coolest was the Austn Healey 3000 MKIII that he had (not his pictured, but same color).  He also had a Triumph Spitfire.  His dad had a MGB.  I went italian and had an alfa spider.

the people who drive these up in auction are also looking like speculators money launderers 

when we had Tom help us order a Jeep, we were willing to travel. he ended up finding our best deal from a dealer that wasn’t *too* far - from the DC area down to the Norfolk, VA area. Still, it was about 8 hous of driving in a day. I think it was worth it as we got a great deal vs. sticker, especially in this market.

just find the tow lot and strike a deal with the owner. they will end up auctioning it off anyway (but given the shitpile this thing is, I’m guessing the junkyard is more likely)
