Can anyone tell me if there are 'apps' like visor, (google) chrome, openoffice and thunderbird in the store?

@clearzero: You can install a different launcher from the market without any troubles. Which disables most of the touchwiz experience.

With cyanogenmod you can add even more security by disabling visible dots. So people really just have to guess what to do :)
