The worst part about this channel is how they reference these amazing sounding movies that are very difficult to come by. Ever since I watched the Emotional Moments episode, I've been wanting to see The Mirror but there aren't any major DVD/Blu-ray releases of it.

Abstinence speakers hate me!

I know. Theu should just make more episodes of Bird Up.

I really hope they have another Tuccipaloza sometime soon.

Some commentor on this site suggested Cinefix awhile back and I've been watching the channel ever since. They do such a great job of breaking down different aspects of film in very practical and accesible ways. I've been getting back into classic films with their help and this new series of Perfect Shots has been

He's playing both roles.

Co-staring some bird shirts and a puzzle.

I just watched Seven Samurai for the first time a few days ago. What an amazing film! I seriously can't wait to watch it again and pick up some of the smaller details.

I think the huge contrast between the two books is what made me appreciate McCarthy.

I've started taking photos in the middle of combat which is great, but then I usually get my ass kicked when I exit the mode.

I haven't read many books that can keep me so on edge in the middle of the day like The Road did. I think that's one reason I love it.

That sounds awful. I'm going to go read it right now.

I remember reading multiple dead baby parts in Blood Meridian. It was getting nearly darkly comedic.

I watched the movie a few years later and I remembered I'd enjoyed it, but not much else.

I've been slowly making my way through HZD. Now that they added the new photo mode, I might never stop playing but also never finish.

Those are the only two books I've read by him so far and actually didn't finish Blood Meridian. It just took up so much energy to keep up with McCarthy's prose. I definitely want to finish it because it's unlike anything else I've read, but also had multiple shocking moments like the one I mentioned from The Road.

Reading The Road by Cormic McCarthy. When the man and the sun came across the partially eaten baby.
Reading that book had a sense of urgency since there were no chapters. I really had a hard time putting the book down but when I came to the part, I had to take a day off.

I didn't realize how invested in the Alien series I was until a couple years after Prometheus. My friends and I were still talking about how disappointed we were in the movie, and then start complaining about every other movie in the series except the first two. I really don't know how it started. I even asked some of

This all sounds amazing. And makes me sad Del Toro won't get a hand in any of this.
