I thought Jurassic World already was a sequel to Brick.
I thought Jurassic World already was a sequel to Brick.
Decided to do this instead.
Nothing we've said in the last five minutes have beat smashy-smashy eggmen.
Now I don't know what to believe!
I knew there was a radio play of Neverwhere (with James Macavoy and Benedict Cumberbatch, right?), but I didn't know that it came before the book. I'll definitely need to check it out now.
I'm cool with most the hymns we sing at Mass, but if I heard Lord of the Dance one more time, I'm going to apostatize.
Hot take: I like American Gods more than Neverwhere but would rather have a sequel to Neverwhere. And Mr. Gaiman is giving us both because he is too good to us.
When Disney announced their purchase of Star Wars, Johnson was one of the directors I was hoping they would pick to make an episode. I just hope he gets to make the Star Wars movie he wants to make instead of what the producers want to make.
And if he gets to do a big budget original after this, I will be so damn…
And the new Rian Johnson film.
Jokes on them, I'm always anticipating anything with Del Toro's name on it! Except that restraining order…
Look at that parking lot!
She just spent 3 hours driving around town looking for a damn bird. She was pissed and I'm sure she was driving away mid-sentence because she was taking off work early. Needless to say, it had me cracking up.
A Serious Man is my favorite Coen brother movie.
I agree that Bono's behavior is pretty obnoxious, but people don't seem to separate him from his music as much as they do with other artists. I've heard people praise Kanye's music but talk about how much they hate him as a person while trash U2's music because they hate Bono.
After my initial excitment for this trailer started to simmer, I did start getting those same concerns. There is a lot in this trailer to suggest it could be too similar to ESB, but I am still holding out hope that Johnson knows better and will be able to at most match the tone of ESB but create a new story and plot…
But before that they made some amazing albums that are pretty darn timeless. I can understand if people just don't like them or their music, but it seems like people hate them like they did something wrong.
I don't get the hate for U2. I was really excited when the track list revealed they were appearing on this album and ended up really loving their contribution to XXX.
It happened one time!
No worries! I'm not fun at parties either, but for different reasons.
I was honestly just trying to make a bad Arrested Development reference. I really don't have an opinion on any of this, otherwise.
