I still don't get why America still has these rebate things. I'd never heard of them until I started reading giz and engadget and saw phones that were $x AFTER REBATE. What's the point?

No. That'll just induce what I call 'Alan Wake Syndrome,' where you're left with an incomplete story and have to buy the rest at a later date (not slating AW, it was one of my favourite games of 2010).

I think the addition of split-screen multiplayer would make most games today better. But I still have great fun playing with friends online - zombies and BLOPS and Horde on GoW being standouts, because of the competitive co-op nature... They're great fun and help to bring that 'couch experience' online.

I don't hate COD, but it is ridiculously overrated. Getting GOTY pretty much every year? They're good, but not THAT good. There are far better shooters produced each year, but they aren't noticed by all the console toting teenagers, so aren't as popular.
