God I love Ted Koppel! He’s absolutely right. Sean Hannity can’t even give Ted the courtesy of being quiet long enough for Ted to finish his sentence. This is a news program Sean, not Fox.

This isn’t the first time I’ve loved and worshipped Koppel. The first time was during the 2008 election, when Koppel was asked “What do you think the election debate moderators SHOULD have asked the Republicans”? Koppel replied: “What was the biggest mistake George Bush made during his Presidency”? Ahh. Great man.

Of COURSE that creeper is a part of House Bolton. GOD do we hate the Boltons.
“Think I’ll go for a walk.”
“Can you hang around for a few minutes. He’ll be stone dead in a moment.”
“I’m not dead” sounds like something a dead person would say
Biased media, reporting all the times I cheated way more than all the times I DIDNT cheat. Fake news.
Hey Joanna, where was your enthusiasm last week when those Republicans said there was no evidence that we were broken up? You never cover that. You’re only covering news that makes it look like we’re broken up. Why are you being so biased?
I saw them at a talk a few years ago, and while I’m sure their circumstances have improved since the book was published, it takes a few generations for that kind of suffering to wash away. The granddaughter seemed bright and motivated, and everything she said was very positive.
I hope she’s on board and all the…
I believe that the Lacks family is involved with the movie so I imagine that they are getting some of the proceeds.
Worse, the scientific community made millions on developments from her cells, and her descendants lived in poverty, obscurity, and without adequate healthcare until the proceeds from Skloot’s book.
I hope Oprah’s film will benefit the family, as well.
Look on the bright side: Mario Kart will almost be out.

This is exactly what I did. I purchased Breath of the Wild for the Switch last week at the reduced price even though I was one of the idiots who didn’t pre-order the switch and now has probably another month of waiting in front of them before they can get one.

When I can’t use a coupon I brought to the store, I tuck it into the shelf in case someone else comes by who can use it. I call myself the Coupon Fairy.
I like to think I’d do the same thing with hundred-dollar bills, but let’s be real. Someone else would be doing my grocery shopping.
I’d tell you what I’d be moving up from the store brand mustard.
I’m not going to lie, I’d be pretty stoked about $200K. The idea of making $418K a day is making my head spin a little. What the hell do you even spend it on? Where does it go? Do you dive into piles like Scrooge McDuck?
Don’t answer. I don’t really want to know.
The wife and I are doing better than we’ve ever done, and this is with me doing stay at home dad/student shit for about four years. We bought a old-ish apartment two years ago with significant help. We’re not anywhere close to $200k. $418k would be fucking awesome.
I’m trying to imagine what my spouse and I would need to do to make $418K a year. Even if it was in 2005 dollars, that would be an entirely different existence.
