It may be that, but I think its mostly this. We’ve barely left our neighborhood; it’s too early for sweeping assumptions.

I don’t think anyone buying these behemoths are all that concerned about fuel economy.
I am doing a literal LOL at my desk right now on the tree painting Bob Ross.
He was a Gotdamn Hero
“We just sold a 300 also! And a 200! We’re at 1000.”
Maybe that’s where all this confusion came from.
Hey, I passed middle school physics as well. Congrats!
I’m pretty sure they did make a hybrid Tahoe for a few years. It couldn’t tow as much and was only marginally more fuel efficient so...not really a great seller.

I thought it looked great!
It’s nice to see that this company hasn’t just been left for dead - at the very least, it’d be a shame for such a gorgeous design to go to waste. Hope the plans don’t go under again; you know what they say - Karma’s a bitch.
It was a voluntary recall not government mandated. FCA got many similar reports of injuries that did happen due to human error. However, I think they decided that if a large percentage of people are having the same issue perhaps the design needed to be addressed. If someone were to be killed they could be held liable.…
