Idiots! Why do people still race each other on crowded streets.

Yea, it does suck. Who’s to say I wasn’t buying my car at the end of the lease? I asked VW and they said that even if I buy thr car today. I would not get the benefits of “owners”. I’m pretty sure I’m keeping mine. And seeing what a “fix” will bring. Only issue is they wont pay me the remainder till the fix is done

Excellent information Hoovie, amazing what the internet has done for car buying selling and repairing. As a used car dealer, this information is priceless for me.

It was the code name for the 2003 Mustang Cobra (I think specifically the black ones) prior to making it to production.

Yes 03 Mustang Cobra... Code named Terminator prior to production.

In my Silver Acura TSX I could do whatever I wanted on the highway and no one gave a crap. My 03 Teminator on the other hand.... As soon as I crested the posted speedlimit, police cruisers would creep out from the bushes. As soon as I got back down, they would slowly creep back out of rearview mirror site.

Comments are priceless

This is it Tom! The last time we’ll be seeing the EVO try to medal for the Japanese TOM! One of the fastest in the world Tom!

I say death penalty if you're rocking chair kills someone

Last year I was traveling Westbound 210 in LA and noticed smoke filling the freeway ahead. As I caught up to it, I see a nineties Dodge Ram spewing fire underneath and to the side. All while the driver just cruised along. You can see drivers scramble to one side of the freeway as the fireball just rolls along.

Never seen snow, seats like new

were you leasing?

I wouldn’t say it was a total loss. Cars are pretty efficient compared to 10 years ago. And the new technology has allowed Manufactureres to add value to their cars. It also brought us the second great horsepower war.

Typical used car you’d get from the auction

feels like VW would prefer to get the car out of your hands than try to fix it and give you money on top.

I always move my mom’s Grand Cherokee. In the beginning, I had zero issues with it. Now, however, I find myself leaving it in reverse and neutral. And I feel like an idiot. But to die this way is a terrible tragedy.

I have a used car lot in Los Angeles. I agree that buyers have to be very careful and diligent. I once bought a dodge truck off a private party customer and he had put electrical tape on the check engine light. Didn’t notice it till a few days later. Wound up spending $1300 restoring the truck into top shape. So yea

This is what I came here for
