I’ve had a Niro EV for 2 years now, it’s a fantastic vehicle. No issues charging for me, my office has free Level 2 chargers, so I go back in there a couple days a week and I’m all set.

20 years driving almost 12,000 miles a year in a diesel-beast like this, apparently all solo (or just 1 passenger). How much global warming is this single person responsible for?

You buy a Cadillac because you want attention, that’s always been the case. You buy this Cadillac because you want ALL the attention, especially at car shows, coffee meet-ups, and the like. It’s not a daily driver and of course there are better uses of almost $40k, but if someone is recently retired with a bit of

I could possibly, MAYBE, get past the primer paint and all if the car was mechanically sound, but a frankencar that’s in need of an engine out overhaul really has no business asking 5 digits.

Doesn’t show it’s age or mileage and has all the premium comforts. Nice price, even suspiciously nice given the current market.

Yes, the market is crazy and some people are desperate for a vehicle. Someone with only $4k to spend and needs a car shouldn’t be buying an old BMW though, so really this should be somewhat exempt from the madness. ND.

I think I got a ‘93 Ford Heresy as a rental once...

You monster, it was the Chosen one…

Is this…the Chosen One?

Haven’t ever changed the oil on my car. 26,000 miles now without an issue.

Is it an interesting, but unnoteworthy event as claimed by mainstream scientists or an attempt to contact the hibernating moon people, as ancient astronaut theorists believe?

Most interesting thing that’s been on NP/ND in a while and part of me loves everything about it.

I think there are a lot of 80’s kids here in the comments as they, like me, seem to find this to be a very, very good looking car. Logically it’s a ND as really any old super car should be, but if you have the money for an old Ferrari, then you should have the money to lose more on an old Ferrari, so despite all the

If you want a “cheap Porsche” that you can take out and drive, this is probably the one. Fair price if not a slam dunk nice price.
That said, why not get a detailing done before you try to sell it? Either at the hand wash or DIY. Would probably have made it a much easier sell.

Up for hours and only one Lethal Weapon 2 reference in the comments? Come on folks, let’s be better.

99% of folks would get in way over their heads with the project and likely never see it to completion before passing it along to the next person (or sitting perpetually in a yard if they have the space for it). BUT even if it would be a mistake, it wouldn’t be an expensive one, so NP.

Want to buy it and try to fix it? NP
Want to buy it and part it out? NP
Want to buy it, drive it, and hope it can last you six months before completely exploding? NP
At this point it’s cheaper than even a rental car should be. So, assuming it doesn’t have a Seinfeld level BO issue, it’s NP all around.

The main selling point of autonomous driving systems is that they can do a better job of it than humans. Programming them to do dumb human stuff completely defeats the purpose (even if normally harmless). If the human is to be out of the equation, then they need to be completely out of it. The only way this will work

Nice price if it checks out as mechanically sound. It could even be a fairly cheap base for a fun track-day car for someone just getting into that.

The dealer has access to the equipment and expertise to repair it, but they didn’t. That should tell us something.
