Clean, top-of-the-line and functional 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee might be worth $8500, but to imagine that this hack job (as clean as it looks in the pics, but probably less so in person) is worth an additional ten grand? That it some insanity level ND.

For someone who wants something weird that no one else has, but not a lot of money, this is an NP. That market is probably big enough to justify an overall NP as well. Will have to kludge something together for the rear lens, but otherwise mechanical bits should be plentiful if they wants to work on it themselves.

It’s pedantic, so apologies for that, but that’s not an appreciating asset, that’s just describing how much profit a person could make. If someone gave you something worth $1000 for free, then a year later it was worth $500 and you sold it, the thing didn’t appreciate from $0 to $500, it depreciated from $1000 to

Oh come on. You knew exactly what was going to happen when you put this one up. Nice run of cheap cars with at least a bit of interest to them and then we get a big bowl of crap as a palate cleanser at the end of the week.

It has to get over $17k to have appreciated over the cost plus inflation. Still a ways away from that.

Honestly not sure if the conversion adds to the value or subtracts from it, but either way it’s a clean, running vehicle under $4k. Pretty much a guaranteed NP these days. Side note - I’m going to stop using the phrase “in the current market.” I think we should all agree and accept that the market is the market now.

What is their plan if I show a dip in my house value.”
Umm, you already do pay tax on the unrealized, assessed value of your home. They’re called property taxes and they go up and down. For middle class Americans, a house is the most expensive asset they’ll every acquire and they have to pay a “wealth tax” on it. For

There are much cheaper ways to announce to the world you’re an unmitigated douchebag. This monstrosity will be better served going straight to the crusher instead of being allowed to blast down Glendale residential streets at 60mph. Yes, this is an emotional vote based on too much personal experience and nope, not

I would take any car in the world over a former police Charger personally, but for someone else it’s a NP. Unfortunately, it’s going to be some dumb kid who really can’t handle that car and will wind up crashing it within a couple months.

Yes, it was $70k new, but that was for a new car with a warranty. While this one LOOKS perfect, the biggest flaw is that lack of warranty. Even if this market, it’s at least $5-10k too high for a car that really isn’t that rare (and it seems like a lot of people are trying to unload them). The asking is higher than

Doesn’t matter if he had the strength to do it or not, he didn’t want to and police had no right in this situation to force him to do so. They weren’t arresting him, so their “request” to exit the vehicle was just that, a request and requests can be refused. The police have procedures to follow when requests are

It doesn’t matter how sketchy or suspicious any of the guy’s action seems. Give him a ticket for not having the 3 y/o in a car seat, but that’s all the police were justified to do. Completely unwarranted, unlawful, and yes racist, police actions like this help criminals thrive as it turns the community against cops.

Even in this crazy market, you can get a 10+ year newer Sedona with leather, dual sliding doors, and maybe even the DVD player for that type of price. Sure, it’ll have higher miles, but it will be much better to drive.

Really incredible, unheard of situation here. Guy started a project, figured out he’s in over his head, and now wants to get out the money he put into it with vague promises that it’s “almost done”.

Small amount of weather and large amount of intentional business decisions that severely reduced airline’s resilience and ability to respond to these issues causing cascading cancellations that take days to clear.

Just saw “painted by previous owner” in the ad, so apparently the seller isn’t that big of a fan either and wants others to know it wasn’t him.

I will take curb rash on normal alloys over black painted wheels any day.

Easy, slam dunk, might even be a bit suspicious Nice Price. Even a regular Legacy in good condition is probably worth $6k USD in this market.

Saw an Inc. article celebrating Musk and Tesla for adapting to the chip shortage by buying whatever chips they could get their hands on and then completely rewriting the firmware to accommodate it. They were cheering the fact that the firmware was written in less than a week. Maybe that’ll be just fine, but still

Honestly, it’s right on the line of a fair price for the condition. A grand cheaper and it would be over the line into NP territory. That said, given the toss-up, I’m tipping towards ND due to the insanely ugly exterior mods. Hopefully they are easily removed and returned to factory.
