How do I get a job as an editor for the Gawker sites because it's embarrassing that people are getting paid to be writers when there's a typo in the headline.

They had plenty of games running on actual hardware at PAX.

I played Ryse at PAX Prime, I enjoyed it. I am upset that there is no split screen capabilites as my wife and I would like to play it together and we are not buying 2 XB1s at launch. It was fun, I only ran into problems that were caused by not knowing the controls fully. Also there were a few bugs that need to be

It makes me happy that the game is shaping up well. I'm one of the few that has high hopes for Ryse.

for all the shit people have been talking about Ryse, i always felt that the gameplay itself would be enjoyable (i haven't heard any different from people who actually played it) but that it would be a very simple game of us hacking and bashing everything in our path with not much more to do.

I played Xbox One at the Gamestop Expo here in Las Vegas, It was a multiplayer version of Ryse. The controller felt nice in my hand and despite a few glitches in the game the fighting was pretty fun. I doubt there will be something other than sword and shield combat but I can hope for something like Twin swords.

Nothing against Sony, I just prefer xbox live over psn. I really don't care about exclusives at all. Sony hasn't had a game that I must have in ages...since the ps2.

I agree. And before anyone says Sony are any better... Sony are literally just releasing a slightly more powerful console with no major new features and winning on that merit alone. Because of the mess that Microsoft have made.

Creating hype with a device that is marginally better than the previous one with marginally more options of which most are niche or are minor conveniences is hard.

he's not wrong...but at the same time, I don't see why there's so much negitivity around the fact that microsoft is willing to change their policies to reflect what their customers want. Regardless of the motivation (because in the end, the motivation is ALWAYS money).

This actually sounds pretty awesome. *TWO* XBox One dev kits for free if you sign up and are selected in this first wave?

I want Prison Architect and Cortex Command on the Xbone.

Phil Fish is little more than a carpenter who preyed upon an ignorant population.

Phil Fish died for our sins.

"Each accepted developer will receive two Xbox One development kits for free."

As someone who games extensively online on both consoles, I can say i despise the inconsistency and quality of Bluetooth on PSN compared to the cheap as hell, but works fantastically, 360 headsets. Give me shitty cheap wired ones anyday over the BT ones on PS3... imo.

LOL the NSA is tracking you right now..you're on the internet.

no thanks. i don't want a glorified PS3. I want new experiences...

Ahhh, it's arrogant posts like this that make me not want to buy a PS4.

You say this as if sony didn't spend the first third of e3 talking about all the non-gaming media features the ps4 will have. Both companies are going the same direction, microsoft just is doing it better at this moment.
