I’m guessing NP to a collector, but CP for anyone else.

Fuck this article. So they bought a ‘#1 of 1600' car and are now trying to sell it for a ludicrous amount of money. Who cares? But #2-1600 for the retail price (or lower) if you don’t want this. What a waste of an article.
Ak-47s for everyone.
The sad thing is, I’m exactly the demographic for this (30 and low 6 figure income). And I own an Infiniti, a 97 QX-4 (shiny Pathfinder), but this is probably the newest car I will ever own. Sure it can offroad (have taken it full-on mudding a couple of times), but it’s so boring to drive. I bought it for going hiking…
If it was this easy, everyone would already be renting their cars out.
It leaks oil? That is factory condition for an old Alfa. I have no idea what this is worth and nearly $60k could be a good price. Without any knowledge I’m saying CP. My guess is closer to $30k.
GM isn’t going to prove they are stable and forward thinking when all of their profits are based on low gas prices and a lack of emission taxes. Either gas prices will go back up or the government will need to impose a tax to nudge people to buy more efficient vehicles.
I actually see a fair number of these around Vancouver, usually one or two a day. They’re pretty hard to miss. About 5x that number of Skylines though.
Arg, I got tricked into another fucking Jezebel article. The one time I forget to check the URL before clicking the link.
They need to scrap CAFE and implement a purchase tax based on a vehicles emissions. This would truly incentivize people to purchase more efficient vehicles. Of course it’s basically political suicide to increase taxes, because people are short sighted morons.
To be fair, it’s pretty uncommon to see older domestic cars where I live. I’ve made a game of it with friends on occasion, seeing how many cars we can count before we see a 90s (or earlier) domestic. We often get into 200+.
I’d like the see the VW money be funneled into nuclear fusion. Eventually it will solve all of our energy problems. Whoever figures it out first will become the wealthiest company/country in human history.
I can’t recall seeing a PT in the last 5 years or so. It seems like they all died off within a few years after their production run ended. Mind you, the same can be said for basically any Chrysler product from that era.
As a big 240 fan, this is awesome.
I’d be fine with them seeing that it would cost VW $3 billion to recall those and then just fining them that money instead.
I really like these cars, but that price is too damn high.
In the few accidents I’ve been involved in, everyone was calm and polite*. I’ve never actually seen someone freak out after an accident. People just want to make sure that everyone is alright, then they exchange information, call the police if necessary. Never been in a serious accident, though I have ended up in the…
Black Lives Mat.... wait, he’s hispanic, never mind then.
Wow, I disagree with that completely. The challenges were always by far the best parts of the show. The car reviews were decent, but you can see car reviews anywhere.
