I tried fitting in small car trunks at my local auto show. The only one I remember not being able to fit in was the VW Eos with the top down. I'm over 6' tall and can fit in almost any trunk that is not a convertible with the top down.

It also increases your vehicle weight, so worse mileage AND worse handling. Though possibly better in the snow?

Fines don't really mean much, its the points that will get you. Most of the kids driving these cars around Vancouver only have a "novice" license and will get their license suspended for a few months for 2 minor or one major infraction in a 2 year window. Another after that and it's a year.

As someone that lives in Vancouver, I can tell you that most people do not follow "left lane is for passing" rule when there is moderate traffic present except on major highways.

I got a ticket from a camera when the light changed and my car was already mostly out of the intersection (rear wheels were still in the intersection). Disputed it, but it's still a ticket apparently.

Yeah, I guess that does happen on rare occasion, but it really has nothing to do with safety then as those people aren't going to cause an accident. We shouldn't be invading people's privacy with cameras just to prevent people from driving in a way that causes a very slight delay to traffic. Let the police ticket

The main problem that I see is that people don't intentionally run red lights. They may go through really late yellows, but I've never heard of someone intentionally running a light that has been red for a few seconds. So the only dangerous people are the ones that accidentally run a red, and then a camera won't

I just don't understand red light cameras as a safety device. How can an accident be caused by someone going through an intersection where the light changes to red half way through? Red light cameras just cause people to slam on their brakes when a light goes yellow.

Or a small number of women have been "engaging" with a larger number of men.

I thought that Nightman was a pedophilic villain?

While valets shouldn't do this, 50MPH in a parking garage isn't that bad.

Most of those are actually pretty awesome. Marketing needs to be memorable and making it a catchy song or a violent/gory ad is a good way to do that.

Did anyone else expect to see a video of a mountain sliding around? I was wonder how the hell it would happen. This is far less entertaining.

I'm still not convinced that using your phone while driving is any more dangerous than all of the other activities people can legally do while driving. Even talking to a passenger is as dangerous as using your phone while driving. Of course texting on your phone while driving is more dangerous than just talking on

The thing is that it was never about safety. That is just an excuse that they use to justify protectionism.

I think you have that backwards. The Mini is faster, cheaper, lighter, and has a hatch. There is no reason to get the 218 over a Mini unless you just have to have the BMW badge.

Depends where you live I guess. Where I live it would be liters of water per mile.

This is just sickening. The 25 year import ban is ridiculous. If they want to protect new cars, make it a 5-10 year ban. Better yet, start making trade agreements to remove import protectionism with other countries.

Of course it told me that I want a Miata. I actually thought that it was rigged until I went back and told it I wanted a V8+ drag car and it recommended an M5. Overall this works ok, but it probably needs to have a lot more cars.

Yeah, that line is total BS. 100,000 miles is just getting started. I've never owned a vehicle with less than 100k miles on it.
