Yeah, the 240sx is still my fav cheap car of all time.  The Toyobaru is right up there, I just wish the rear seating was the same as the 240.  It is quite a bit worse.  I'd be happy if it had a little extra rear space even if it meant a few inches in length and another 50-75lbs.  In fact, I'd probably own one right

It's probably a NP (and I voted such), but I wouldn't buy that.  The center console is a huge turn off.  Plus, looking on wikipedia, it weighs almost 3400lbs.  That is a hefty amount for a 2 seater (in my eyes anyway) considering that even the heaviest stock Miata isn't much over 2500lbs.  Yeah, it's power to weight

I can understand them not being sold at the major retailers, but you'd think that more comprehensive computer/electronics stores (Radioshack, Newegg, NCIX, etc) would sell them.  They sell some pretty obscure hardware already.

The problem that I found with that site is that they don't really tell you how to find good quality units from reputable dealers in the US.  There is a lot of talk about how to buy them online (usually from China/Russia) and how to not get ripped off doing that.

I really want Jalopnik to do a review of Car Dashcams.  It seems like there are a lot of them out there but I haven't been able to find any reliable information about them.  Most reviews are of people that bought them and they have problems.  There are also plenty of warnings about getting 'fake' units.  I am

So it's a stock '82 Accord with a paint job and some Pep Boys bits.  For $5000?  CP.  If it was in show room condition (with less than 10k miles) it MIGHT be worth that much, though I certainly wouldn't pay it.

Considering how unreliable their cars have been over the past decade or 2 and I'm not sure that this is the best idea coming from them.  Wonder how much it would be to lease?

I agree with the FR-S/BRZ.  Car people will know that you aren't rich, but that you have good taste in cars.  Most other people (if they don't recognize the badge) will think you are in a $40-60k car.

This is the wrong answer.  Bieber should most certainly ride a high-powered sport bike with minimal safety gear.  Maybe he'll have a few drinks one evening and see how fast it will go?

I still don't understand why Gawker can't just use the same system that virtually every other site uses.  Just have a list of comments (with the ability to sort) and let people reply to them (indent them to show this).  Add in +/- rankings if desired.  It is far more user friendly.
