It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a company so thoroughly come out of nowhere and shoot itself in the foot as hard as Unity has.
What about the direct except for Peach and Thousand Year Door was impressive? It was mostly DS and 3DS remakes. They were about equal in my eyes.
It was short and didn’t impress. Nintendo Direct on the other hand was one of their best in a while. Except the let down of the last announcement. It was cool, but not for a final announcement.

The ship combat’s good (or at least good enough since I don’t have a ton of space sim experience to compare it with) but the whole element is just... I don’t know... It’s such a weird and not really that great mix of Mass Effect and No Man’s Sky that I can’t help but feel was the result of a deliberate design choice…
“Todd Howard says it’s all about making planet exploration an “experience.”
Got about 55 hours in now. The main ‘experience’ I have walking towards unexplored waypoints on planets is boredom and annoyance as I sometimes need to wait for my stamina/oxygen to replenish before I can sprint again. And as far as jetpacks…
I assumed they were just visual flavour for vendor trash, ive been selling them all while my stockpile of medkits is ever growing. They probably went a bit overboard with the medical treatments as well having lots of different items for treating different combinations of status affliction injuries, rather than the…
I know, weird flex from PC gamers, right? How dare someone get paid for a QoL improvement that nobody else took the time to make?! I swear we are the dumbest elitist pricks in the world.
I say this not as a PC gamer, but why in the hell shouldn’t someone be compensated for their work on a mod?
I played BG3 with a controller because I knew I would get the PS5 version so my wife could start a file on PC.
Wait, what? Isn’t Resident Evil 4 remake, Baldur’s Gate 3, Hogwart’s Legacy and Armored Core 6 AAA enough for you? I doubt you have seen a Steam Deck, not to mention even owning one, based on your comment.
Meanwhile, I’ve played 80 hours of Baldur’s Gate 3 on my Deck and have been having a wonderful time.
Don’t worry guys, media consolidation is actually a really great thing overall and is beneficial for consumers and creators. We swear! Please be excited about Microsoft consuming Activision, too! It’s for your our own good! I mean, your own good! Believe us!
This really doesn’t surprise me. I’m not saying nobody young can enjoy pixel aesthetics but I feel like most of the appeal of pixel graphics is nostalgia. There are a handful of modern games that use pixel art that I think are genuinely lovely (like Iconoclasts and Sea of Stars) but I think most pixel games don’t…
I have no idea what to expect of this game. I am hoping for the next iteration of mass effect. I don’t need to walk around for 5 days to reach a new city. I want to explore interesting regions. My first thought and why i didnt preorder was, are they just making planets for the sake of saying they have 1000, or are…
On the flipside, I think it’s probably safe to assume that if Starfield is going to be as popular as they expect it to be, the number of Game Pass acquisitions they’ll get would probably be worth way more than making people pay up front for it. Plus, I imagine most people aren’t going to finish Starfield within 14…
Makes sense. I’m a GP user and I love it, I think they’d be silly to let people play through Starfield for free. It’s probably going to be a system seller and GP seller. As will the ABK franchises if and when that deal closes and existing Sony contracts expire.
Hey, this doesn’t bother me personally, but I didn’t expect the spoiler about the Emperor’s identity in slide 9, and there may be others who it bums out
