Obviously Allen cut out the scene where Wilson's character gets a bad bottle of Pernod when pretentiously making pastis while sitting outside at Fouquet's. Which led to his fever dream in which he was feted by people vastly more talented than himself.

Anything worth watching, "Game of Thrones", "Sherlock", "Boardwalk Empire", "Downton Abbey", any many many more, were on TV.

They can't do it because their reference points for anything they choose is an alter ego.

That was the movie that made me decide to see no more films about the Holocaust, Slavery, or any other degradation that humanity dishes out to itself.
