The condition of the tires was certainly a factor, but speed was absolutely an issue; 80+ mph in a 45 mph zone? The car didn’t spin out of control and crash while it was rolling out of the garage doing 5 mph, now did it?

With a 217 mile range, this truck won’t be stopping at truck stops. It will be for local delivery and will return to the dock/depot every night to recharge. 217 miles won’t get you anywhere over the road and 11 tons is not enough for OTR.
